US Tour blog 1 - Thunderous Music and Silent Hauntings - October 2023

Following Canada, we arrived in the East Coast USA region for the next part of the tour...

First stop Ithaca, that special place where waterfalls plunge into gorges at the southern end of Cayuga Lake. The show there as well as the following gigs in nearby Rochester and Binghamton all went well with fabulously appreciative crowds. Jo and I enjoyed a special lunch stop too with pals Mark and Cliff beside the beautiful Skaneateles lake.

The Albany crowd was equally enthusiastic and it's always fun to play there at the Egg (Hart Theatre), which I always think looks more like a spaceship!

Next stop, Boston. Our pal Jeremiah who is also a tour guide took us out on a fascinating ghost tour... You could really feel a sense of being haunted in those dark streets. We recommend to check out the amazing ghost stories linked the the Omni Parker House Hotel.

The band were on fire at the Boston show and most likely blew away any spirits... Then following a fun New London gig, both band and crowd totally took off at the Townhouse Theatre, back in New York City!

Always great to see Manhattan but no time to linger, as we had to reach Harrisburg the next day for the show there which went down a storm... Then all the way back up to the Boston area to play in Providence. The crowd were terrific though which made the journey worthwhile.

The following day we travelled south again, this time to Philadelphia. We stayed on there for three Scottish Rite, Collingswood shows, which were all extraordinarily exciting with band and crowd all equally ecstatic! We saw pals there too, and visited the incredibly spooky Penitentiary with its long forbidding corridors. It's pretty massive, but the cells so grim and tiny... except for Al Capone's cell which looked like a plush hotel room!

We then had an equally fabulous time at the Washington DC show, before moving on further south to Durham for the upcoming next leg of the tour...

Many thanks to Entourage Talent, Brian, Adrian and the whole team... The North East Coast region has been a terrific experience and it feels great to be touring the USA again!
