Remembering Paul Gosling

Jo and I were incredibly sad to hear about the passing of Paul Gosling, a great friend and a brilliant film maker.

Paul introduced us to Debbie who was the warden of CS Lewis' magical house The Kilns on the edge of Oxford. We then often joined Paul and his wife Tracey on many wonderful visits to Debbie at the Kilns.

Paul made several fantastic videos for us over the years, beginning with his exceptional film for my song, "Love Song To A Vampire" from the album Wolflight. Sometimes, the videos could become pretty adventurous. At one point, Paul and Tracey came with us to Greece to film for the video "Corycian Fire". His latest video for the song "People of the Smoke" on my last rock album The Circus And The Nightwhale was exceptional.

You can see his videos via his website: www.crookedhandproductions.com. There are links to his videos from my website too: www.hackettsongs.com/video

Paul was immensely talented and creative. He was also one of the nicest and brightest of people you could ever hope to meet, as well as having a wonderful sense of humour.

We will always miss him so much and our hearts totally go out to Tracey and the family.

Warmest wishes to all,
