North America Tour Blog - Towers In The Sky
Following the fabulous Ridgefield shows in the gorgeous wooded hills of Connecticut, we headed for Philadelphia, where we stayed for the two Collingswood shows, which were as exciting as ever with fabulous crowds. Then we headed for Red Bank, where we stayed at the lovely Molly Pitcher Hotel with a fabulous view of the beautiful lake there and played at the iconic Count Basie Theatre.
We then headed for New York City, where the Lamb did indeed stand up on Broadway! Great to be back there again, and playing those numbers from fifty years ago to a rapturous crowd... Manhattan always has that powerful vibe and Jo and I enjoyed walking those sky scraper lined streets on our way to do an interview with Sirius XM about the Lamb...
From NYC back to Philadelphia and from the new to the old, we played in the lovely vintage but newly refurbished Lansdowne Theatre, before carrying on down to Washington DC, and then from there to Durham, North Carolina. Both shows again received a fabulous response!
Now we're heading further south again to Atlanta, happy to have had such warm reactions at every gig we've so far played on this special North American tour...
My thanks as always to the agent and all the team!
