Latin America blog 3: Sun, Sea, Sand and Starry Nights

Initially, we entered Rio, Brazil in a kind of coma, having travelled in the night but not long enough for much sleep. Most of the first day was sleep catch up, and then that evening Jo and I enjoyed a meal with Brazilian promotor Steve Altit and his wife. 

It was also good to connect again the following day with more pals, including singer Ritchie, who I’ve recently once again recorded with on a song which initially brought him to everyone’s attention in the 1980s in Brazil. We also took moments to enjoy the heat, sea and fabulous rocky scenery. 

It felt great to play to such an enthusiastic crowd that night.

The following evening we enjoyed an equally thrilling vibe from the large audience in São Paulo. Both gigs went so well!
