Acoustic Christmas Magic in Switzerland - December 2019

A small group of us headed off on Wednesday to Basel, Switzerland for an acoustic show on Thursday at the Foundation Beyeler. The show went off well with an appreciative audience. The concert was held in a fascinating building, also housing an art gallery jam packed with paintings and sculptures ranging from those of old masters to the most modern.

Jo and I had the chance to walk around the beautiful streets of Basel Old Town and to see some of the colourful Christmas Market, as well as visiting a Grimm's Fairytale style cafe with decorated mirrors, wooden panels and elaborately carved chairs.
