A sprinkle of magic - November 2013

Since returning from Hungary, I'm back to the studio for recording, and it's great to get back to my new album. So many ideas that have been begging to be let out are now seeing the light of day! Whole new vistas are opening up...

No more gigs now this year, although last night I did guest on John Hackett and Nick Fletcher's acoustic show at Trading Boundaries, the fairytale style haunted house in Sussex. The cave-like venue lit up by over a thousand tiny lights provides a beautiful setting for shows, and the many exotic Eastern items including Buddhas, Ganneshas, Arabian lamps and Indian cushions along with Roger Dean originals on the walls, all add to the magical atmosphere.

It was great to see family members and friends there, plus the gig went well. John and Nick played beautifully and I was pleased to guest with them. My thanks to Michael Clifford of Trading Boundaries for making it all possible.

Now back to the new album recording, with a number that also alludes to ancient realms of the East...
