First stop after Denmark was Essen, where we had another really special German reception!

Entering the Netherlands, we knew it was going to be three days of excitement with those amazing crowds at the Boerderij, Zoetermeer! We always have a warm welcome from the team there, and it was great to get together with pals Martin Duimel too, who took Jo and me to the beautiful old town of Leiden where Rembrandt was born. The following day we went with Martin to a signing session at a Velvet Music in Delft, another historical city with those wonderful picturesque waterways. It was great to meet everyone at the signing as well.

Then on to Luxembourg. What a spectacular city! It goes back to Ancient Roman times and includes the most impressive ancient walls, ruins, castles and fairytale turrets. Jo and I were enthralled by the place. The show went so well too. A fabulous experience!

Magical Paris was as amazing as ever. What an explosion of excitement at the gig! I had the chance to have a coffee in the sunshine near the beautiful Sacré Coeur with Jo, some wonderful fans about to attend the show, plus journalist and Photographer from the UK Classic Rock magazine.

It was a long journey the following day driving to Zurich, but we all arrived in the nick of time! As always, it was great to meet friends and fans and we played to another terrific audience. The vibe was extraordinary! Finally through beautiful tree covered rolling hills we drove on to magnificent Mainz, a gorgeous old German city near Frankfurt. There we played an outdoor gig as part of a festival in a fun grassy location within some old walls, and another fantastic reception!

Next stop - Sophia, Bulgaria...
