Hola, Latin America!

Steve looks out on Santiago

Jo in Santiago
Following the North American tour, on a day off in Mexico City we headed for the ancient site of Teotihuacan, over 2000 years old, abandoned by early inhabitants and reinvigorated by the Aztecs before the Spanish arrived. Those pyramids of the Sun and the Moon are extraordinary... Incredible structures and shrouded in mystery, with a fascinating link to Mayan nature-based beliefs, but also to the darker side of that ancient world...
The show the following night was one of the best ever! The crowd was exceptionally enthusiastic and sang along to many of the numbers... What a wonderful vibe!
The Guadalajara gig the following night was equally explosive... Guadalajara is a beautiful city with a charming old centre. Jo and I enjoyed exploring it with our Canadian pal Andrew.
Thank you Mexico for such a fantastic welcome! We can't wait to return!
It took the best part of a whole day and night to reach Chile... But once we had recovered with extra sleep we enjoyed the vibrancy of Santiago... A fabulous city beside the magnificent Andes mountains. What amazing views! It was great to eat out with the band, and Jo and I had the chance to explore this special city too, with its ornate cathedral, wide tree-lined streets and hills covered in exotic foliage...
Another extraordinary show followed, with a terrific audience! Santiago welcomed us with open arms with a sold out show and we look forward to playing there again as soon as possible!
A very big thank you to the promotion teams, and in particular Luis for Mexico and Paulina for Chile, as well as Brian, Adrian and also Wayne of Entourage Talent.
And the show continues to roll... Now on to Argentina!
