A thundering waterfall...

Statue of Athena in the Parthenon
It was exciting to play in Nashville, as I hadn't been there since the '90s when Roger and I recorded with Chester Thompson and Alfonso Johnson for the first Genesis Revisited album. Fantastic to reconnect this time round with Chester and have the chance to catch up together. Wonderful to see pal Leigh Harris too. Watch out for her special interview soon...
Nashville is tremendous fun. Music City! You hear live music from bars as you walk down the street. Nad, Jo and I also visited the extraordinary Parthenon, a replica of the original built in Athens around 2,500 years ago. The gigantic statue of the goddess Athena inside covered with gold leaf is beautiful and impressive.
The two Nashville shows went down well with lively crowds. We enjoyed the vibe with band on top form.
Next stop on to Newark, New Jersey. Again fabulous to spend time with pals, and another terrific show...
By the time we reached Ithaca, we knew we were on top form and as Nick Beggs commented, the band's confidence has by now "hit the sweet spot". Again, a brilliant response and the State Theater had a great atmosphere.
The following day, pals Mark and Cliff showed Jo and me some of those wonderful waterfalls and gorges in and around Ithaca, which were breathtaking. Incredible feeling approaching, initially with just the loud thunder of water in your ears even before you see it. Ithaca is a lovely place, with a progressive feel and full of life...
It's so far been an amazing tour, from the temperate south to the bustling vibe close to New York, to the semi snowy north where you can feel the call of the wild... Wonderful seeing friends, and fantastic audiences everywhere!
With thanks to everyone... Next stop Ridgefield, CT...
