Happenings and Hauntings - February 2014

Steve with Fish at CRS Awards evening

Steve and Jo at Carbrook Hall pub
It's good to get away at weekends, as on week days I'm working long hours on the new album recordings, with just one week to go now before stopping for rehearsals and the Spring Genesis Extended tour.
This last weekend Jo and I went to the CRS awards in Wath-upon-Dearne. It was great as always to see everyone there, and I was thrilled to pick up Best Bassist award for Lee Pomeroy who couldn't make it, and Best Guitarist award for myself too. Larger than life friend Fish gave out the awards and it was great to hook up with him as well. My thanks to everyone at the CRS and to all supporters who made these awards possible.
The following day we enjoyed a drink with friends Bryan and Olivia from Mostly Autumn at Carbrook Hall, allegedly "the most haunted pub in Sheffield". It's like one of those strange old houses that differ from all the normal buildings in the street of a Tim Burton movie. Always important for the creative spirit to take a step off the beaten track.
That evening arrived back home just in time to meet up with Armando Gallo, and to look at the amazing Genesis app he's creating...
